FAMILIES considering schooling options for their children are being encouraged to explore the welcoming and community-focused environment at Harvest Christian College with the college highlighting new enrolment opportunities and upcoming school tours.
Principal Peter Ayoub said the college aimed to provide students with more than just an academic education.
“Finding the right school is one of the most important decisions families will make,” Mr Ayoub said.
“At Harvest Christian College, Kadina, we are proud to be a place where students are known, valued and supported.
“Relationships matter here, and every learner is encouraged through strong academics, care and a shared sense of purpose.”
The college is currently offering a mid-year Foundation intake commencing in Term 3, giving eligible children the opportunity to begin their schooling journey in a supportive environment without waiting until the start of the following year.
“Places are limited, so we encourage families to enquire early,” Mr Ayoub said.
“Our experienced early years staff work closely with each child to help build confidence, independence and a love of learning from day one.”
Mr Ayoub said the transition into school was an important milestone for both children and parents, which was why the college’s free Little Sprouts program had become a valued part of the school community.
Held each Wednesday during term time, the program gives kindy-aged children the opportunity to explore, play and become familiar with the school environment.
“Little Sprouts provides a relaxed and welcoming space where friendships begin, routines become familiar and confidence grows,” he said.
Beyond the early years, the college offers students a broad range of academic and vocational pathways, including agriculture, technology, creative arts and trade-focused learning.
“We want students to discover their strengths and pursue their passions,” Mr Ayoub said.
“Whether a child is interested in university, a trade, the arts or another pathway entirely, there is a place for them at Harvest.”
Mr Ayoub said the college’s Christian values played a central role in shaping its culture and community.
“We strive to create a culture of kindness, respect and service, where students are encouraged to contribute positively to the world around them,” he said.
“Families often tell us they notice the welcoming and supportive atmosphere as soon as they walk through our gates.”
Prospective families are invited to attend the college’s school tours on Friday, May 22, from 9am to 11am.
The tours will provide an opportunity for visitors to meet staff and students, see classrooms in action and learn more about the college community.
