Helloworld Travel Kadina timeline
IF you can imagine your dream holiday, there’s a good chance Helloworld Travel Kadina can help make it happen.
For 35 years, the business has been helping local travellers turn their holiday ideas into reality — from planning the details to getting them on their way.
Now owner, Sandra Paddick (nee Schilling) had been working at World Express Travel in Kadina for a couple of years when an opportunity arose to buy the business in June 1991. Her father, farmer Ashley Schilling, and Kadina businessman David Rosewarne purchased the agency, renamed it Kadina Travel and began operating it with Sandra.
About two years later, the Schilling family bought Mr Rosewarne’s share of the business and has owned and operated the agency ever since.
The business has evolved over the years while maintaining its strong local presence.
From 2003 to 2014, it traded as Travelscene Kadina before joining the Helloworld group.
It reverted to the Kadina Travel name then rebranded as Helloworld Travel in 2019.
