VOLUNTEER AWARDS... Some of the most important work in a community happens without fanfare. For many years, Heather Miller has raised funds for UnitingCare Copper Triangle through its annual Pancake Day program, Kylie Mildwaters has coordinated the organisation’s Christmas Food Hamper program and Judith Barker has run the Christmas gift appeal for local families in need.

LEGAL work is not something most people think about until they need it.

A property sale, a will, a family matter that needs careful handling — you make a call, you come in, and someone helps you through it.

But the people at Mildwaters Byrth Lawyers and Conveyancers are more than legal professionals.

They are locals who live here, volunteer here and contribute to the community fabric that makes Yorke Peninsula worth calling home.

Principal Kylie Mildwaters was recently recognised at Kadina Uniting Church with an award for outstanding long-term volunteering with UnitingCare Copper Triangle.

For more than 20 years, she has coordinated the Christmas food hamper program, making sure families doing it tough across the Copper Coast have something to celebrate.

She also serves on the board of Community Care and Transport, known as Care in Motion, helping ensure people across the region can access the transport services they need.

This is not something Kylie does for recognition. It is simply what being local means to her.

Mildwaters Byrth’s team members across the Yorke Peninsula bring that same spirit to their work and their lives.

For anyone buying or selling property on the peninsula, it is worth knowing that conveyancing can, and perhaps should, stay local too.

When every part of a transaction is handled by people who live and work here, the benefit flows back into the same community that everyone involved is proud to call home.

“We are proud to serve this community professionally,” Kylie said.

“And we are grateful, genuinely grateful, to the clients and colleagues who support us in return.”

If you need legal or conveyancing help anywhere on the Yorke Peninsula or Copper Coast, Mildwaters Byrth would love to hear from you; call 8821 2199 or visit mildwatersbyrth.com.au.
