YORKES Meat and Smallgoods has officially opened its new premises at 20 Taylor Street, Kadina.
The award-winning team of butchers has moved into the new storefront just in time for the busy Christmas season, supplying all the classics plus a whole new range to satisfy everyone’s tastebuds.
Manager Robert Waters said his team is excited to be working out of the new location while continuing to provide the same great service customers are familiar with.
“A lot of blood, sweat and tears have gone into the new build over the past year, so we’re pretty stoked to be working out of here now,” Robert said.
“There has been so much anticipation about our opening and everyone who has walked through the doors has only had positive things to say.”
Robert said the new location will expand opportunities for the business to grow its team and range of offerings.
“This will open up expansion and employment opportunities for us, and we’ve already put on a few more employees ready for our grand opening,” Robert said.
“Every one of our staff is involved in the manufacturing process and it is important people continue to shop local to support the local people we employ and keep jobs within the community.”
Robert said the team will continue to create quality products, using the same locally sourced produce.
“We use fresh produce in all of our products, all of our lamb comes from local supplier Wardle and Co in Maitland, and our pork comes from our own piggery, Ant Hill Piggery,” Robert said.
“This makes a huge difference in the quality of our produce, as do the love and care our team puts into our products.
“We manufacture all of our own smallgoods, which is no small feat.”
Robert said the team wish their customers a safe and happy Christmas and New Year and look forward to seeing them in store soon.
