MICHAEL and Sue Liebelt have been part of the local community for 30 years.

Mike moved to Kadina in 1991 as an employee of the then Mosel Browne Surveyors, as a young Survey Graduate. With some funding from his fiancee Sue, he bought into the company in mid-1993 with then partner Max Jauczius.

Sue joined the business in 1994 after she and Michael married; by that time, Michael and Sue were both Licensed Surveyors.

Thirty years on, Mike and Sue have raised a family in the Copper Coast, been heavily involved in sporting and service clubs, and enjoy being part of the local community.

“In 1992, Mosel Browne had three employees, were hand drafting plans and surveys were being completed by electronic distance measuring,” Mike and Sue said.

“Today, the company uses robotic theodolites, GPS, drones and other technologies — the days of hand drafting are long gone.

“Some of the first projects we were involved with were the marina at Wallaroo and the new subdivision at Kadina East.

“These projects have offered opportunities for the Copper Coast, as well as for the many locals who’ve trained with Mosels and have been integral in making them happen.

“It is wonderful to see the marina and Kadina East development are still ongoing, and Mosel continues to work with the next generation of the same developers.”

Sue and Mike would love to take this opportunity to thank their many loyal clients from Yorke Peninsula and surrounding areas, for supporting Mosels over so many years.

“Also, a sincere thank you to our past and present wonderful staff members who have been and continue to be part of the journey, we wouldn’t be in the position to provide this service locally without them,” they said.
