TEACHERS are an essential part of children’s early years, shaping their learning and supporting them through their school journey.
Harvest Christian College, Kadina, principal Peter Ayoub says teachers are integral to the school community and their contribution is highly valued.
“At Harvest Christian College, our teachers play a vital role in shaping not only the minds, but also the hearts and character of our students,” Mr Ayoub said.
“Our teachers are at the centre of our college community, mentoring, guiding and walking alongside students in their academic, spiritual and personal growth.
“The connections our teachers form with students are genuine and lasting, built on care, respect, and a shared desire to see every child thrive.”
Teachers provide guidance and mentorship that help children develop life skills and gain valuable knowledge for the future.
“Our teachers love spending time in the classroom and yard, and forming strong relationships with our students, to make them feel comfortable,” Mr Ayoub said.
“We look for teachers who have a strong passion for teaching, who want to develop young people and who are committed to developing faith and our students’ God-given talents.”
Teachers are at the heart of every school, and at Harvest Christian College their impact is clear to see.
“Having the right people in the right roles matters deeply to us, and our teachers go above and beyond to help our students flourish,” Mr Ayoub said.
“We see them build genuine connections with our community, which allows both the students and the teachers to thrive in the environment around them.
“This World Teachers’ Day, we celebrate and thank our staff for their faith, passion and the profound impact they have on the lives of our students and families.”
For anyone interested in joining Harvest’s welcoming community, the college is hosting tours next Tuesday, November 4, 9.30am to 11am, and 4.30pm to 6pm.
