DANI and Aimee Finn thank the community for its support during their first year managing the Cornucopia Hotel.
The couple, along with children Farren, Lucas and Addison, achieve the one-year anniversary today (Tuesday).
While COVID-19 restrictions might have put a dampener on a bigger event, they haven’t stopped the celebrations.
“We thank patrons for their support during our first year of business,” Aimee said.
“The patrons have been fantastic; everyone has supported us really well in the past 12 months so we are very thankful to everyone.
“Coming up to the one-year anniversary we want to have a few celebrations which will include drink specials on the day.
“We are grateful for the support, it has been a really busy 12 months and we have achieved a lot, and we have more to come.”
It’s not the couple’s first foray into managing a hotel, as they previously ran the Golden Grain Hotel in their home town of Pinnaroo from 2008 to 2017.
It has been a whirlwind year for the Finns, who have made their mark on the historical hotel.
Among changes, the couple renovated inside and extended the beer garden to include a family-friendly lawn area.
The Cornucopia Hotel is open seven days a week for meals, gaming, bar, beer garden and functions.
