BARLEY Stacks Wines is an award-winning, family-owned winery and cellar door south of Maitland on Yorke Peninsula.  

“Our passion is to produce wines unique to this region while promoting the many aspects of the Yorke Peninsula,” owner Lyall Schulz said. 

“The rich grey soil over limestone contributes to the unique flavours of our wine. 

“All of our fruit is grown, crushed, fermented and processed on site by our local staff. 

“It is then distributed through our cellar door as well as locally and interstate.”

The rustic cellar door is open to the public seven days a week, offering an experience unique to Yorke Peninsula, providing tastings in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. 

“Pizzas and cheese platters are available daily,” Mr Schulz said. 

“We specialise in event management, including weddings, live entertainment, corporate and private functions. 

“We also host an annual Tasting Australia event.”
