YPFL: Two mouth-watering clashes ahead
BACK TO BACK... Murphy Short, CMS Crows, claimed his second YPFL A grade Mail Medal at Maitland last night (Monday, August 29). After also receiving the accolade in season 2021, this time around Short received 25 votes ahead of Southern Eagles’ Nathan Allen on 21 and CY Cougars’ Zac Bates on 20. Moonta’s Aidan Turner was named the best under 21 player. The B grade count was also a back-to-back affair, with a tie for the second year running. Kadina’s Isaac Glasgow and Paskeville’s Mike Daniel were named joint winners with 15 votes. CMS Crow Kai Newbold was the runner-up with 13 votes and Moonta’s Dylan Slack third with 12. PHOTO: Rod Penna
