Warooka Pharmacy marking a milestone
Advertising Promotion
TO celebrate its 15th anniversary of caring for the local community, Warooka Pharmacy is offering specials throughout the store.
Next Monday and Tuesday, December 15-16, customers will receive 15 per cent off most items in stock, excluding prescriptions and current catalogue specials.
It’s a great chance to say hello, celebrate with the team and pick up a bargain just in time for Christmas, with savings on giftware and fragrances.
The pharmacy opened on December 14, 2010, at 10 Brentwood Road, Warooka.
Founded by friends Siva Matli and Ambica B Shivaram, it began in an empty shop and was built from the ground up.
Over the past decade and a half, the pharmacy has grown into a trusted part of the region, offering personalised advice and care to locals and visitors alike.
Siva, his wife Anu and their then four-month-old son Himanish moved to town when the pharmacy opened and quickly formed a strong connection with residents.
The family has since grown to five with daughters Siri and Eesha, all of whom help in the pharmacy when they can.
Today, Warooka Pharmacy offers a range of services, including dispensing prescriptions (including e-scripts), over-the-counter medications, free Webster packing service (customers pay only for the medication), free blood pressure and blood sugar testing, vaccination services and local medication delivery.
Customers can also shop a wide selection of gifts, perfumes and makeup.
The pharmacy is a National Diabetes Services Scheme Access Point and provides MedsCheck and Diabetes MedsCheck services.
Siva is supported by experienced, qualified pharmacist assistants Jill Naylor — who has been with the pharmacy for more than seven years — Belinda Thomas and Taylah Connolly.
The team thanks all customers for their ongoing support and looks forward to celebrating this special milestone with the community.
