Wallaroo winners in CCC by-election
NEW COUNCILLORS... Sandra Paddick and Peter Sims are the two newest elected members at Copper Coast Council. Mr Sims, a former police officer who now volunteers in various capacities, led the way with 1106 first-preference votes in the council’s supplementary election, whilst Mrs Paddick came second with 772 first-preference votes. Both live in Wallaroo, and Mrs Paddick also operates Helloworld Travel Kadina. Their addition gives CCC — which has no wards — four elected members from Kadina, including mayor Roslyn Talbot, four from Wallaroo and two from Moonta/Moonta Bay. Photo: Rod Penna
