LEADING agriculture network Viterra has launched a recruitment drive to fill diverse operational roles across southern Australia, including three positions on Yorke Peninsula.
Applications are now open for the jobs, with Operations Supervisor and Assistant Supervisor roles available at Viterra’s Port Giles terminal and an Operations Supervisor opportunity at Viterra Ardrossan.
Viterra General Manager Human Resources, Alyson Gilbey said operational employees enjoy active work, local travel and a strong safety culture.
“We’re looking for people who want to learn new skills and make their mark in a safe and supportive environment at our grain storage and handling sites on Yorke Peninsula,” Alyson said.
“Our site supervisors play a key role in the first steps of our global food supply chain, working with colleagues and ensuring we safely receive, store and move the grain that growers deliver to our sites.
“Whether you have agricultural experience or you’re new to the industry, we’d love to hear from you.
“We can offer you a fulfilling and rewarding career with access to all the support, training and tools you need to succeed.”
Viterra Operations Coordinator Thevenard region, Renee Dale started with the business as a seasonal worker for the 2017-18 harvest and said she feels a great deal of pride in her work.
“I have developed new skills, and received formal qualifications with Viterra to help me get to where I am now in the business,” Renee said.
“I’ve progressed my career with support from everyone I’ve worked with along the way.
“I’d recommend a career at Viterra to anyone.
“You’ll work with a great group of people with the opportunity to grow your skills and advance your career.”
Viterra offers career development opportunities in the regional communities in which it operates.
