Tropical paradise in Wallaroo
CREATOR... Bond Store Wallaroo owner and head distiller Nicole Matthewman has created a tropical delight with the new lime and pandan gin.

THE Bond Store’s latest offering is the perfect escape from gloomy winter weather.

Just one sip of the new lime and pandan gin will transport you to a tropical paradise.

Bond Store, Wallaroo, owners Derek and Nicole Matthewman are looking forward to showcasing the taste sensation this World Gin Day, Saturday, June 11.

“Our quandong and blood orange gin has been our most popular gin for some time, but I think this will really be a contender,” Derek said.

“Nicole is our head distiller, using her background in pharmacy to our advantage in this business.

“Our lime and pandan gin has been distilled with kaffir lime, pandan and coconut, and it’s been something Nicole has wanted to do for a couple of years now.

“Her love of travel has been a great source of inspiration for us, and this is no exception.”

The gin pairs perfectly with tonic and is also the hero of its own cocktail, now available in store.

“We spent about 12 months working on this,” Nicole said.

“We wanted it to be versatile.”

The Bond Store now produces six gins and three liqueurs from its Owen Terrace location.

“World Gin Day is the perfect time to come in and taste our new gin, or any of our wonderful gins,” Derek said.
