Telstra customers in Kadina are experiencing interruptions to their mobile service this week.
Telstra is upgrading the mobile base station that services Kadina to improve 4G capacity and add 5G coverage.
Work started on Tuesday, November 5 and is expected to be completed on Saturday, November 9.
A spokesperson said the significant upgrade would result in a better mobile experience for customers.
Telstra customers can continue to make calls and send texts during the disruption by connecting to a wi-fi service and switching on wi-fi calling in their phone's settings.
Business owners can talk to their bank about connecting EFTPOS terminals to NBN or wi-fi to prevent delays in processing transactions.
