A BIT SALTY... Crop type and variety treatment plots in the salinity management trial at Tickera. This photo, taken on September 23, 2022, shows the dramatic difference in the way different crop types responded to the dry saline soil. The canola plot is at the bottom left, with wheat planted behind it. Next to the canola are two plots of lentil, then safflower, vetch and field pea. Oats are planted behind the safflower.
