Salvos urge: donate, don’t dump
OVERFLOWING... Salvation Army Copper Coast Corps Captain Karen Armstrong said during the Christmas and New Year period the Salvos had received thousands of donations, but many had to be thrown away after they were left outside the donation bins in the weather, or simply because they were unsellable rubbish in the first place.
