Reader set for a magical afternoon with Anastasia

LUCKY Yorke Peninsula Country Times reader, Caroline Kennett of Kadina, has won a double ticket valued at $300 to see Anastasia — The Broadway Musical at the Adelaide Festival Theatre in early August.

The ticket giveaway competition featured in YPCT editions earlier this month and was run in conjunction with the theatre. 

The musical was inspired by the beloved film of the same name, and is a romantic adventure that takes audiences from the final days of Imperial Russia to the glamour of 1920s Paris.

It stars Georgina Hopson, Robert Tripolino, Joshua Robson, Rodney Dobson, Rhonda Burchmore and Nancye Hayes AM.

The story follows a young woman named Anya as she sets out to uncover the mystery of her past. 

Pursued by a determined army officer, she joins forces with a charming conman and a lovable ex-aristocrat, and together they journey across Europe in search of home, love and family. 

Featuring well-known songs including Journey to the Past and Once Upon a December, the production has captivated audiences worldwide.
