Outstanding success for SYP beef producers

BRENTWOOD Red Poll beef cattle breeders Peter and Alan Wilson won four of the six classes, plus reserve champion, at the 11th Southern Grassfed Beef Carcase Competition held at Teys Australia Naracoorte recently.
The largest grassfed beef competition in Australia, possibly the world, it attracted 1349 purebred and crossbred entries, mostly from South Australia’s South East and Victoria.
The Wilsons’ entries were 18 to 20-month-old purebred Red Polls, one of which won the reserve champion award with a score of 89.63 points out of 100.
