ANTONY Ogar has had his home detention bail varied.
Mr Ogar has been charged with one count of murder following the death of his 37-year-old wife Cherry Gerente Ogar in July.
The 58-year-old Port Hughes man appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court yesterday (Monday, May 23).
Mr Ogar’s bail variation allows him to be absent from his home between 9am and noon each Friday for the purpose of attending Bunnings.
He is also permitted to be absent (from his home) each Sunday for the purpose of religious worship.
Ms Gerente Ogar was flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with life-threatening head injuries, allegedly inflicted by her husband Mr Ogar, on Monday, July 26.
She passed away on Wednesday, July 28.
At his initial court hearing, Mr Ogar claimed Ms Gerente Ogar fell backwards and hit her head on the floor after she attacked him whilst drunk.
Mr Ogar will next appear in court at 2.15pm on Wednesday, June 29.
