JANDEBREY White Suffolk Stud, Sandilands, run by Geoff and Tania Stock, was founded in 1994.

Geoff and Tania have gained a reputation for producing reliable flock rams sound in structure, with excellent length and are well muscled, enabling commercial lamb breeders to produce the best prime lambs possible.

“We believe in the importance of breeding high quality paddock-reared rams that will perform well, even in tough conditions,” Geoff said.

“The sheep and lamb market continues to remain strong and prime lamb producers are continuing to gain solid returns on their investment.”

Geoff and Tania are dedicated to improving the Jandebrey Stud by purchasing outstanding White Suffolk stud sires and high-quality ewes from leading studs throughout Australia.

“Our 2022 sale rams are the progeny of excellent stud sires from the Baringa Stud, Oberon, New South Wales, and the Wingamin Stud at Karoonda,” Geoff said.

“These studs have been consistently strong performers at the Hamilton, Bendigo, Canberra, Sydney and Adelaide Shows.”

All Jandebrey White Suffolks are Ovine Johne’s vaccinated and Ovine Brucellosis accredited free.

At the stud’s 2021 sale, repeat buyer Des Detmar, Warooka, commended the rams on their clean features, robust frames, length and muscle definition.

Mr Detmar purchased the top-priced Jandebrey ram for the third year running for $2300, up from $1600 the previous year.

The 2021 sale average was $1090, increasing from $1079 in 2020.

Jandebrey White Suffolks is the major sponsor of the Ardrossan Football Club and Curramulka Community Club lamb competitions, donating a ram to each club as first prize.  

The stud is also pleased to sponsor the Central Yorke Cougars Football Club.

The 2022 Jandebrey sale will be held at the Maitland Showgrounds on Wednesday, September 21; inspection from noon, sale from 1.30pm. A barbecue lunch will be provided.
