Emergency services were called to the Wallaroo jetty around 3.10pm after an empty single-person kayak had been seen floating in the water.
The police helicopter, PolAir, searched the area along with Sea Rescue and other volunteers.

POLICE and Copper Coast Sea Rescue flotilla spent several hours searching for a missing man off the coast of Wallaroo on Tuesday, November 17.
