IN response to South Australia’s 2019 bushfires, including the worst in Yorke Peninsula’s history, the state government has worked with emergency services to implement proactive solutions.
Across the state, three lives were lost and hundreds of properties were destroyed or damaged.
“The destruction saw almost 279,000 hectares of land burned and 68,000 livestock killed,” state Minister for Police, Emergency Services and Correctional Services Vincent Tarzia said.
