Coronavirus restrictions return

NUMBER limits at gatherings, and restrictions on food and drink services, have been reintroduced as South Australia tries to prevent a second wave of COVID-19.

Gatherings at private properties will be dropped from 50 people maximum to 10, and all food and drink service must be seated at any cafe, restaurant or licensed venue as of Wednesday, August 5.

“It is very important we act swiftly, listen to the expert advice and stay in front of the game here in South Australia,” Premier Steven Marshall said.
