YPC waives fees for those affected by fires

YORKE Peninsula Council will waive all development application fees for people who had damaged and/or destroyed property in last month’s Yorketown and Price fires.

The fires covered about 5000 hectares of land and losses were substantial with damage to homes, sheds, fencing, plant and machinery, crops and stock.

Many of the structures lost or damaged will require development approval to demolish and replace.
