Cold, wild winds then rain hit Yorke Peninsula

YORKE Peninsula was hit with strong winds last Thursday, September 19, followed by heavy rain.

Winds gusted up to 85km/h in Kadina, and 78km/h at Stenhouse Bay.

A day earlier, Kadina set a new record for its coldest September morning when temperatures dropped to minus-2.3 degrees Celsius.
