Wild winds and much-needed rain

GALE-force winds and substantial rain lashed Yorke Peninsula and much of South Australia last week.

The downpours were welcome as parts of YP had just endured their driest July since 2002.

Most of the peninsula received a much-needed soaking on Thursday and Friday, August 2-3.
