Manhunt impacts wider community

SEVERAL Wallaroo residents were displaced from their homes as police declared part of Wallaroo a dangerous area overnight.

Wallaroo Town Hall became the main hub for people who could not return to their homes.

Salvation Army Copper Coast Corps Captain Karen Armstrong and volunteer Tamika King assisted those seeking refuge in the hall.
