COMMUNITIES most severely affected by the 2019-20 bushfires in South Australia — including on southern Yorke Peninsula — can now access free face-to-face legal advice from dedicated lawyers.
The Legal Services Commission has appointed two lawyers, both of whom are available to provide support for Yorketown.
“The trauma of going through a bushfire is often severe and, unfortunately, there can be a number of unforeseen consequences as people look to get back on their feet,” Attorney-General Vickie Chapman said.
