ALMOST a year on from the major Yorketown and Edithburgh bushfires, southern Yorke Peninsula was again faced with multiple grass fires caused by dry lightning on Tuesday night, November 10.

LAST year’s bushfires rattled the Yorke Peninsula community, but many people used the event as motivation to be better prepared before the 2020-21 bushfire season.
