Port Broughton foreshore for all access and abilities

BARUNGA West Council is considering upgrading one of its playgrounds on the Port Broughton foreshore to create an all access and abilities playground.

As part of the second round of the federal Drought Communities Program, council will spend about $350,000 on improving the area’s playground equipment.

CEO Maree Wauchope said a significant amount of equipment needed to be replaced due to its non-compliance.
