YORKE Peninsula received a solid soaking of rain on the weekend and there should be more where that came from, as heavy falls are forecast for tomorrow right across Yorke Peninsula.
Moonta had 17.4 millimetres, Maitland received 27.2mm and 27.4mm fell at Edithburgh for the weekend.
The rain has arrived right in time for local farmers who are starting their seeding programs, and for gardening enthusiasts preparing for winter planting.
