Sheep destroyed after truck rolls

MORE than 100 sheep were killed, or had to be euthanised, after a truck rolled at the Federation Corner roundabout yesterday (Monday, April 27).

Emergency services received reports a truck carrying about 400 sheep had rolled at the roundabout, at the intersections of the Copper Coast and Yorke Highways, just after 10am.

The highways were closed while the truck was removed from the road and the animals euthanised by police, PIRSA and the RSPCA.
