Term one to end early

SCHOOLS remain open for now, although South Australian public schools will finish term one a week early.

The state government announced the final week of term one will have four pupil-free days, starting Monday, April 6, and leading into the Good Friday public holiday.

The decision aims to give educators time to prepare new learning plans for term two, as more parents choose to keep their children home during the COVID-19 pandemic.
