Telehealth helps clinics deliver health care

THE federal government is rolling out subsidised telehealth services to all Australians.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced the Medicare-subsidised services as part of a $1.1billion healthcare package on Sunday night.

The package will also provide additional incentive payments to general practices to help them stay open for consultations which can’t be provided via telehealth.
