$130billion in wage subsidies

ABOUT six million workers are expected to benefit from the federal government’s $130billion JobKeeper Payment.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced the support package yesterday (Monday) bringing the government’s total spend on supporting the economy through coronavirus to $320b.

Employers will be eligible for the scheme if they have a 30 per cent or greater reduction in revenue for at least a month, beginning on March 1.
