Australia’s oldest Holden dealer reflects on the brand’s history — and what comes next
GENERAL Motors has hit the brakes on Holden vehicle sales, ending a 72-year partnership with Rosewarne’s of Kadina.
Rosewarne’s was General Motors’ first Australian dealership and remains its longest standing family-owned and operated dealership, trading on the same site under the same name.
Director Tom Rosewarne is the fifth-generation Rosewarne in the business and said it was disheartening to watch Holden disappear from under his nose.
