$330k for Black Pt boat ramp

THE state government has announced it will contribute $330,000 towards modifying the Black Point boat ramp.

Yorke Peninsula Council has been offered the funding from the SA Boating Facilities Fund for modifications to prevent ongoing beach erosion at the site.

Black Point Progress Association has spent about $60,000 transporting 3000 tonnes of sand to address erosion, which is believed to have been caused by the construction of an elevated boat ramp in 2014.
