Community comes together

WHEN times are tough, communities really shine, and this has certainly been the case in the past six days on Yorke Peninsula.

Hundreds of CFS volunteers were out on the fireground, supported by farm units, SA Police, SES and MFS as fires raged, including a blaze which claimed seven homes on southern YP.

There were also dozens of others in Yorketown and Edithburgh helping people deal with a constantly-evolving situation.
