DONATIONS... Northern Yorke Peninsula Quilters group members Astrid Zanker, Helen Smart, vice-president Maxine Koch and Fran Halls are glad to receive financial support from the Copper Coast Council for the group’s charity quilts program.
ALMOST $80,000 has been distributed to the Copper Coast community through council’s community grants program.
Copper Coast Council elected members approved the $78,557 in funding at this month’s meeting for 33 proposals including equipment purchases, facility upgrades, new buildings and administration.
Councillors also supported a $3000 provision for the St Vincent de Paul Society for assistance with waste charges and $5000 for maintaining the green fairways at Wallaroo Golf Club.
