MORE than half of Australian teachers suffer from anxiety and nearly one in five are depressed, according to a ground-breaking Australian study.
Chief learning officer for Cluey Learning Dr Selina Samuels said she was not surprised by the results of the study, which were published in The Conversation.
“Teachers can feel a tension between serving the needs of their students and complying with formal requirements,” she said.
