The euphoria of making the 2019 SANFL grand final has been replaced by the agony of defeat for five Yorke Peninsula football talents.
AFL-listed players Cameron Sutcliffe, Cam Hewett and Boyd Woodcock along with top-up footballers Jack Elsworthy and Matt Appleton all pulled on the prison bars for Port Adelaide against Glenelg on Sunday, September 22.
Port was sluggish early in the contest, which was played in front of a strong crowd of 39,105.
