Doctors hold deep concerns for future local GP numbers
LOCAL doctors are in desperate need of replacement, reinforcement and relief.
As the state government continues to consult on its draft Rural Medical Workforce Plan, Yorke Peninsula’s doctors are calling for the means to attract more graduates to the profession.
According to the Rural Doctors Workforce Agency, there are at least 66 vacancies in rural South Australia.
