PORT Hughes Boating Club held its Crab and Squid Competition on February 27.
The weather was fair in the morning, but the usual choppy conditions rolled in just after lunch with several competitors returning early to the weigh station.
First place went to Mark and Linda Moss with 3.514 kilograms, second place went to Steve and Di Sampson with 3.189kg and David Fitzgerald was third with 3.046kg.
