WPS creates virtual school on Minecraft

STUDENTS from Wallaroo Primary School recreated their entire school on Minecraft during a recent 10-week digital technologies project.

After halting a collaborative hydraulics project due to COVID-19 restrictions, WPS student wellbeing leader and technologies teacher Damian McCarthy formulated a task which could be completed remotely by his years 6-7 students.

He decided to utilise Minecraft, a video game where players place and break different materials in individual worlds to suit their needs.
