Port Wakefield Uniting Church is turning 150

PORT Wakefield Uniting Church will celebrate its 150th anniversary this Sunday, August 12.

The church was originally built as a Wesleyan Chapel and was opened on August 9, 1868.

Port Wakefield tradesmen, stonemason Mr Sanders and carpenter Mr Paul Wiseman, were contracted to build the Wesleyan Chapel.
