IT has been a year since Pets Domain Kadina opened its doors, and in that time, the store has firmly cemented its place in the community.

The store held a first birthday event, which included free DIY dog washes all day and a colouring-in competition, on Saturday, August 19.

“There were also TidBits dog and Temptation cat treat gift bags for lucky customers and their fur babies,” Pets Domain marketing manager Stacey Tweedale said.

Pets Domain Kadina is a keen supporter of the community.

“Any profits raised from the sale of their reusable carry bags go to Jenny’s Angels Dog Rescue, so come in and purchase a bag,” Stacey said.

“Jenny’s Angels Dog Rescue and Little Claws Cat Rescue also benefit from donations of products from the store manager, Ronnie McDermott.

“Pets haven’t been the only beneficiaries of our donations. 

“We are also extremely proud to be a platinum sponsor of the Kadina Hockey Club.”

In May, Pets Domain sponsored the new Cousin Jack and Jenny Best Dressed Pet Competition as part of the Kernewek Lowender Copper Coast Cornish Festival, and they hope locals will continue to participate in future years. 

“To assist customers with cost-of-living pressures, we took feedback from our customers and improved our membership loyalty program, which launched in March,” Stacey said.

“For an affordable fee, members receive significant savings on purchases in-store every day. 

“For a six-month membership, Gold members save 30 per cent on all in-store purchases and silver members save 20 per cent.

“The Gold and Silver membership discounts are in addition to all other promotional discounts in-store.”
