AUSTRALIA’S pre-eminent wine and comedy festival Grapes of Mirth is coming to the Clare Valley for the first time on Saturday, December 2.

Taylors Wines, one of Australia’s First Families of wine, will host a heavyweight roster of stand-up comedians at its brand new cellar door.

The line-up boasts some of Australia’s favourite comedians, including Mel Buttle and Heath Franklin’s Chopper.

Joining them are Welsh comedian and Have You Been Paying Attention? regular Lloyd Langford, the man with the best mullet in showbusiness, Brett Blake and winner of the 2023 Melbourne International Comedy Festival Best Show award Gillian Cosgriff.

Grapes of Mirth head clown Merrick Watts will be on emcee duties throughout the day.

“I am genuinely chuffed we are finally able to bring Grapes of Mirth to Taylors Wines in the Clare Valley in 2023 and to return to South Australia,” he said.

“I can’t wait to see the stunning new cellar door and bring some laughs to one of my favourite regions.”

After the comedy, Grapes of Mirth resident DJ Pedro Moshman will keep the party going.

A range of Taylors’ incredible wines and a variety of food trucks will be on hand to ensure all festival goers stay well-nourished and hydrated.

Tickets are available from Moshtix.
