Pura Vida Health — Naturopathic and Wholefood Collective is the only health food shop in the Copper Coast and is owned by two degree qualified naturopaths.

“We provide affordable, accessible and sustainable choices for customers to be proactive with their health and our bulk wholefoods and cleaning products means making healthier swaps has never been more affordable,” Elise and Selena said.

“Shopping in bulk means you can purchase as little or as much as you need, you can bring your own jars or use what is provided to bring back and refill.”

Elise has a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Counselling) and a Bachelor Health Science (Naturopathy), specialising in the treatment of anxiety, eating disorders, thyroid complications, female hormone imbalances/cycle irregularities and concerns. 

Elise is passionate about supporting women and young adults heal their relationships with food and disordered eating patterns.

Selena, who has a Diploma of Nursing and Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy), is passionate about fertility and preconception care, menopause, men’s health, gut health, and helping people feel their best. 

“Because Pura Vida is run by two naturopaths, you can get individualised support and advice for all things natural health,” Elise and Selena said.

“We also have a practitioner room within the health food store allowing us to see clients one on one in a relaxed but professional environment.

“Appointments with Selena will be available as of September.

“We are a multi-modality clinic space offering naturopathy, counselling, massage therapy and holistic healing appointments with various practitioners.”

Elise and Selena want to take the complexity out of living a healthy life.

“So many of us see healthy living as a chore rather than a way of life,” they said.

“Pura Vida Health was born out of the desire to simplify health to one that is balanced and effortless. 

“All products and supplements within our health space are naturopath approved and high quality with no added nasties, allowing our customers to make effortless choices with their health care.

“Our name reflects our mission in promoting the simplicity of health, getting back to the basics and not overcomplicating health.”
