REGIONAL DisAbility Support Services is providing quality person-centred services to NDIS participants across Yorke Peninsula.

The Kadina-based operation has a welcoming and accessible office at 66 Port Road, and is open from 9am to 4pm.

“Our participants are able to choose their support worker from a culturally diverse workforce, which we feel is a point of difference,” general manager Trudy Clift said.

“We are a local service provision with value placed on face-to-face contact and have 24-hour on-call rostering support for staff and participants.

“We are respectful of our participants’ right to privacy and have access to unmarked fleet vehicles and there is flexibility with staff uniforms.

“Our team offers social and community support, transport, short-term respite accommodation, psychosocial recovery coaching and housing and tenancy support.”

Regional DisAbility’s team of qualified staff can provide everything you need for support coordination to connect you with the services you require and direct care coordination to connect you with the support worker of your choice and in-home support.

Direct care coordinators will work to thoroughly understand your individual support requirements and NDIS goals.

“We tailor a service which connects you with a diverse range of support workers with varied strengths, skills and cultural backgrounds,” Trudy said.

“Direct care coordinators ensure your values, beliefs and wants are respected by providing you with the choice and control of your service delivery.

“We meet with you regularly to review your supports and to ensure support continuity and quality.”

Regional DisAbility’s support coordinators can assist in building the skills needed to understand and implement funded supports in NDIS plans to work towards pursuing goals.

“We will work with you to connect to a variety of appropriate supports to increase your capacity to maintain relationships, live more independently, and be included in your community,” Trudy said.

“We will also ensure your supports and services fit within your budget and that reviews take place regularly.

“We believe regular face-to-face contact is paramount to ensuring a fantastic service delivery and will always centre your supports around you and your choices.”
