AFTER 21 years, Richard and Barbara Duns are saying goodbye to Ardrossan Auto Centre.

The couple shifted to Tiddy Widdy Beach from Adelaide in 2001, and have enjoyed building a loyal customer base in the First Street business.

But the time has come for another change, with the pair planning to retire and spend more time exploring Australia in their caravan.

The business, Ardrossan Auto Centre, is being offered for sale, fully operational, for $395,000.

This includes the freehold title to the property of about 940 square metres.

There is the potential for redevelopment, subject to council consideration, as the land comprises two allotments (600sqm and 339sqm) with a main street frontage.

Currently run by two people, Ardrossan Auto has the capacity to build up the turnover with additional staff.

Ardrossan Auto is also the local RAA agent and there is a Holden Crewman set up for callouts as well as a Kessner car trailer.

Also included in the sale is a Ford Maverick, and equipment including new tyre-fitting equipment and a well-stocked spare parts room.

Ardrossan Auto is a registered ELGAS Agency and there is a custom built gas bottle trailer on site.

Prospective buyers will receive a comprehensive list of all the tools, plant and equipment included with the sale.
